The Duty As a data engineer, you will be responsible for assisting with the migration of the traditional on-premises RDBMS system to a newly built cloud architecture. In your role, you will be responsible for the delivery of a variety of projects that are crucial to the success of the data engineering team as a whole. This includes, but is not limited to, designing robust ETL and data pipelines capable of moving vast amounts of data around the organisation, constructing and maintaining continuous integration pipelines, and the ability to demonstrate work to technical and non-technical stakeholders. The role will utilise SQL, Tableau Server, C#,.Net, and Microsoft Azure as its primary tools. The successful candidate will likely have a solid academic background and a bachelor's degree. Working knowledge of big data sets and highly international settings. A thorough understanding of one or more ETL tools.
