Your new business A public sector organisation seeks a Business Intelligence Analyst for a one-year FTC to be responsible for the provision of information, analytics, and predictive modelling services to support business needs, with the possibility of permanent employment. Your new duty The incumbent will be responsible for leading the design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of business intelligence solutions using the appropriate tools (e.g., SQL Server, Tableau, SSIS, and Excel) and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Prince 2) to provide insight and improve outcomes for various departments across the organisation. You will collaborate with local and national teams, clients, and external stakeholders to satisfy business requirements (e.g., suppliers and contractors). In addition to guiding and advising Business Intelligence Analysts and Business Intelligence Support Analysts, you will report to the chief business intelligence analysts what you'll require for success Extensive knowledge and experience with tools, including data platforms such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and Access. Agile (Scrum, Kanban, XP), Waterfall, data extraction, transformation, reporting, data modelling, data standards, data quality user experience and Project management - Prince2. Knowledge of data transformation programming languages, such as C#, Java, VBA, and Python. Experience in relational database design, MS SQL 2008-2016, and SQL Management Studio. Experience with data management, ETL (Extract Transform Load), and automation tools, such as Microsoft SSIS and Alteryx. Experience authoring reports and dashboards, such as Tableau, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Power BI, QlikView, and Excel. Informatics knowledge in the NHS, healthcare, or education sectors.
