A great opportunity for an experienced Business Intelligence Developer to join an established Data team, developing new BI solutions, implementing enhancements and carrying out day to day support. As Business Intelligence Developer you will: Oversee and participate in the translation of requirements into functional solutions Ensure requirements are of high quality and fully documented before development Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of BI solutions Help implement automation and self-service Design & Implement User Acceptance Testing procedures and sign-off processes Ensure all solutions are fully documented Ensure change management and rigorous version control practices are in place Production of functional and technical specifications Derive data from source applications and manipulate as necessary (ETL) Promote and ensure appropriate training in PowerBI and excel based data analysis functionality Crafting and executing queries upon request for datasets Procedures and monitoring are in place for the protection of information through effective access management Databases are protected, backed up and monitored (working with the infrastructure team) MS SQL platforms are current and patched correctly, and other DBA activities Management of the request pipeline, 2nd level support and the BI development team We are looking for a Business Intelligence Developer with a combination of the following: SSRS SSIS SSAS PowerBI SQL In return you will receive: A great salary of up to £65,000 DOE as well as benefits such as: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Company pension Life Assurance Access to BUPA healthcare scheme Hybrid Working What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
