Your new role Hays are recruiting for an exciting opportunity for an experienced Data Analyst to join our client on an ongoing long term temporary assignment for an approximate duration of 12 months (rolling, reviewed annually). Ensuring that data driven insights are seamlessly integrated into our operations, driving highly bespoke and predictive customer service to maximise our commercial success. The candidate?s focus will be to identify opportunities where data science can improve productivity and results, and then support with the delivery of these solutions. This will include the design, build and deployment of data science models created by themselves in house, or through management of our partner organisations. Key Accountabilities ? Design, build and optimise data science models across multiple business functions (sales operations, ownership services, client & brand) that guide the organisation to a data decision making company ? Project managing the deployment of new data science models throughout the organisation (from Head Office, to Region, to Dealer) ? Responsible for managing the agency relationship with our nominated data science partners (3rd party organisations) ? Implementing and automating data science models onto the cloud-based data infrastructure project ? Conducts advanced analytical tasks, data cleansing and data mining. ? Maintains accurate technical and non-technical documentation pertaining to all aspects of responsibility. What you will need to succeed ? Excellent understanding of DS techniques from statistics and machine learning ? Excellent knowledge of at least one programming language (R, Python) ? ·Excellent knowledge of at least one query/SQL language (MySQL, PostgreSQL or Hive) ? Experience working with large and small data sets ? both structured and unstructured ? Use machine learning to discover actionable patterns in data and develop hypotheses ? Business facing ? including ability to explain ideas simply to non-technical stakeholders ?
