Principal Duties & Responsibilities: Assist with the deployment of a Machine Learning platform Monitor and optimise platform performance Create and manage data pipelines and data storage (including unstructured and semi-structured data). Support Data Scientists' access to data in particular. Furthermore: Be a good teammate. Capable of motivating and leading technically Assist with engineering resource recruitment Enjoy working with a variety of unique teams Competence and Experience: Knowledge of EDW and Big Data storage, processing, and pipeline management (Azure technologies) Knowledge of data modelling, proficiency, and experience in data architecture Strong Python, SQL, and Scala coding skills, as well as knowledge of software development best practises. Strong expertise in scriptwriting Ideally also familiarity with NoSQL (e.g. MongoDB) Stream processing versus batch processing Excellent knowledge of microservices architecture Application infrastructure: container, Docker, and Kubernetes expertise Experience with Machine Learning platform, preferably with Azure technologies, and exposure to/experience with Domino is preferred. Experience with or interest in Machine Learning and certain commonly used tools, such as NumPy, Pandas, matplotlib, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, and XGBoost.
