Data Engineer - 6 Months - Inside IR35 - Office based once per week Are you an experienced Data Engineer looking for your next role? My client, one of the UKs leading utility companies are recruiting for a Data Engineer to take the lead on a solution to deliver a centralised reporting system for my client's IT security configuration. Some of your responsibilities would include: Develop a solution that will scale to allow multiple data sources to be easily added to (and removed from) the solution over time to be ingested into a central data store which can then be analysed using a single reporting tool (Power BI). To ensure the continued safety, security, and integrity of IT services by ensuring the solution complies with data security, audit and regulatory requirements. Work with stakeholders to interpret requirements and deliver functionality in an iterative release cycle. To strive for continual improvements in quality and performance of the solution. In regard to your tech knowledge, you will also have experience with the following tech: Technical experience in or knowledge of deploying, configuring, and developing solutions using Azure resources (such as Data Bricks, Data Factory and Cosmos DB), Microsoft solutions (such as Power BI) and experience of interrogating web APIs. The ability to advise on Azure best practice to deliver end-to-end improvements to the existing solution. The capability to lead the creation of new functionality to our existing systems.
