You will be a significant contributor in managing data storage services on the cloud, working directly with team leads, project managers, and others throughout Global Infrastructure & Platforms. Responsibilities: As you contribute to common goals, you will collaborate with technical leaders and contributors. You will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, data migration, and lifecycle management of NAS and object-based data storage systems, services, and tools in a hybrid cloud infrastructure, in order to support the storage services that underpin the Arm engineering EDA workflows in our HPC environments and remote offices. Furthermore, you will:? Provide primary operational support for NetApp data storage and data security solutions within the Cloud Hyperscalers ? Develop a grasp of, and adherence to, Arm IT processes. ? Work on routine problems and requests independently, ensuring that they are handled in accordance with agreed-upon Arm procedures and Service Level Agreements based on the ITIL framework. ? To improve the first-time fix rate, provide clear and concise documentation, disseminate information, and train team members and other peers. ? Monitoring the data storage infrastructure and taking a proactive approach to identifying possible problems, opportunities for improvement, and performance bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and working towards resolving these issues through automation and process optimization. Work collaboratively with a globally dispersed team of Storage Engineers and the Storage Manager to produce a high-quality service while meeting strategic objectives and goals. Skills and experience required: ? Have you worked with the NAS Storage File Protocols - NFS and unstructured data systems? Understanding of typical data storage processes? AWS Cloud Operations using FSxNetApp services? Have you worked with NetApp data ONTAP management, both on-premises and in the cloud? Excellent knowledge of infrastructure services Troubleshooting and networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, firewalls, LAN/WAN)? Customer-facing experience; you must be confident and believable in front of a customer and be able to articulate difficult ideas concisely.
