Your new company An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a public bodies Strategic Programmes ICT team and ERP programme as a data quality engineer. They are currently undertaking a procurement process to select a new ERP supplier. Working along side business SME?s and support partners we will be cleaning our core business data, improving it?s quality, increasing the confidence in this data and embed a culture of data-driven decision making before migration to the new system. As an ICT Service, their primary purpose is to ensure that they empower people through technology. In order to achieve this and support the corporate goals, IT needs to work, all the time, and every time. Their Mission is to build and maintain a high quality technical and applications infrastructure that supports the organisation?s frontline services and enables them to provide cost effective and efficient services to the business. About the role My client is looking for a Data Quality and Migration Lead to lead and coordinate the activities of a team of subject matter experts covering both data migration and data cleansing activities as part of our ERP programme of work. You will be involved in and lead on the data migration of multiple legacy systems spanning HR, Finance and Procurement to a new ERP system working close with our business leads and experts along with our selected ERP systems implementer to ensure all required data is captured, transformed and migrated to the new system. You will also work alongside our strategic Data and BI manager to oversee the technical staff responsible for building and guiding the organisation through data quality, cleansing and best practice activities for future data maintenance. What you need to succeed: You will be educated to degree level, professional qualification or equivalent in a related discipline or equivalent relevant experience and have ITIL 3 Foundation qualification or equivalent Project Management accreditation. You will have experience with leading technical data migration and quality staff providing direction and guidance on activities and ensuring they are delivering high quality results meeting project timeline and highlighting and providing solutions at the earliest evidence of an issue. You will have experience of working along side 3rd party IT systems implementers ensuring that they are meeting pre-agreed targets and delivering high quality results inline with the contract in place including the management and if required escalation of issues when they arise. You will be required to have excellent prioritisation skills, attention to detail and have the ability to produce relevant documentation and standard operating procedures What you'll get in return Salary up to £46,845 Public sector pension 25 days annual leave (increasing with length of service) Ability to purchase additional 10 days annual leave What you need to do now?
