The programme involves a series of procurement exercises, which started in 2021. Role Purpose: Our client are currently looking for a Reporting Analyst to join the CLIENT Market Intelligence & Research team. The role will require the post holder to: Carry out research on our client's market & competitors activities and benchmark our client against competitors. Update weekly and monthly schedules reports and conduct market & competitor analysis. This involves sourcing data from agencies, data mining, analysis and the creation of insightful reports. Responsibilities Research Assist the Market and Competitor Intelligence Manager and partner with key stakeholders across the business by: Conducting research on market activity and benchmarking our client against competitors'. This will cover areas which include; product portfolio analysis, customer experience and brand satisfaction intelligence, digital initiatives and marketing activities. Data mining and provide accurate forecasting to support our client's pricing decisions. Alerting internal stakeholders about market and competitor activities that impact the business. Collating data from various sources in order to build a broad picture of the macroeconomic environment. Interpretation & Analysis Accurately calculate market trends using models, evaluating the impact these have on our client and the wider market. Continuously monitor the evolving digital landscape within financial service sector and evaluate the impact they have on our client Source accurate competitor intelligence data to establish best in class practices; benchmarking against our client to support the business strategy. Committee Representation Assisting the Market and Competitor Intelligence Manager with: Researching, evaluating and interpreting market intelligence data tailored for committees to help influence our client's strategic decisions. Producing monthly committee packs and when required deputising in committees. Scheduled Reporting Responsible for the production of scheduled reports (weekly/monthly), tailored to stakeholders specifications. Provide clear concise executive summaries - help drive out 'insight to action' for the business to inform strategic decision making. Partner with stakeholders and look to continuously improve reporting outputs by seeking regular feedback on the suitability of these in line with their evolving needs. Continuous improvement Support the team's continuous improvement programmes by driving efficiencies in team processes and deliverables for stakeholders. Administrative tasks Review and maintain the team's library on our cleint's intranet. Proof-reading of documents and reports that have been produced by the team as a final check prior to these being circulated. Support the team's relationship with 3rdparty agencies Key Skills / Experience Essential Experience Analytical experience including exposure to data mining, data gathering and data analysing. Experience of evaluation of data and identification of trends to assess the impacts and implications for a business against competitor activity and the external market. Experience of communicating information clearly and concisely skills both written and verbally. Experience of having presented a range of material to different audiences. Experience in working under pressure, managing multiple projects for stakeholders. Experience working with, and managing relationships with insight agencies. Essential technical knowledge and skills Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to conduct analysis and present statistical data using industry-standard business intelligence software such as Tableau. Good presentation skills and interpersonal skills. Excellent report writing skills. Numerate with high attention to detail and accurate data analysis.
