This role entails managing various data streams that originate from all over the world! Your key responsibilities and duties as a Senior Data Engineer will include the following: Modern stream processing tools are being used to simplify integration and ingestion pipelines. Assuring that batch processing remains more robust, performant, and simple to maintain for analysts and data scientists. Improving observability and monitoring to reduce maintenance workload. Contribute to the creation of a modelled data warehouse to assist analysts and data scientists throughout the organisation. Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving data issues across a variety of systems and event teams, including their CRM and traditional batch workloads Your skills and expertise as a Senior Data Engineer/Data Engineer will demonstrate that you are highly proficient in the following areas: Experience in developing high-performance batch and streaming data processing systems AWS tech stack - s3, MSK, EMR, Glue, Redshift (AWS provides 100% of infrastructure) Expertise in Python, Java, or Scala Solid understanding of distributed processing tools such as Kafka and Spark Experience in an agile environment utilising DataOps principles As a Senior Data Engineer, you can expect the following benefits: 25 days of paid vacation plus your birthday!
