*Hybrid WFH* Backend Python Developer / Tech Lead to £120k Do you have backend Python experience and a data-driven mindset? Your role is as follows: You will prototype and develop new features, analytics, and enhancements to the core SaaS trading platform as a Backend Python Developer / Tech Lead, with a focus on improving backend infrastructures, optimising platform performance, and ensuring scalability. You'll see your work go live quickly, from concept to prototype to build and release, and you'll collaborate with other senior engineers to make technical decisions. You'll also own parts of the build and architecture. As a senior team member, you will provide technical leadership to more junior team members, allowing you to make a real difference and advance your career. WFH Policy: After a remote interview, you'll join colleagues in the London, City office two days a week, with the option to work from home the other three. You must have advanced Python development skills, including experience with backend development. You have a logical mind and a strong desire to solve problems. You work well with others and are eager to learn and share your knowledge. You are well-versed in distributed systems. You're familiar with SQLAlchemy and data modelling techniques. You have a degree with a 2.1 or higher in Computer Science or a related technical / scientific / numerate discipline. RabbitMQ, MySQL, Docker, AWS, Linux, Gitlab, and ElasticSearch remain part of the software stack; experience with any of these is advantageous.
