Your new business As a Bordereaux Technician / Bordereaux Analyst, you will be working for an innovative and growing Independent Global Lloyd's Brokers that has been in business for over 100 years. Your new Brokers take pride in understanding the importance of being client-focused, and they have recently been named an employer of choice. They are looking for someone to assist with the Analytical work on their Binders due to significant growth within their Operations Binding Technical team. Your new position As a Bordereaux Technician / Bordereaux Analyst, you will be in charge of mapping and processing premium/risk/claim analytic bordereaux onto the DA Sats system. You will help with data extracts and Power BI reporting, as well as liaise with processing teams and managing agents to ensure bordereaux and mappings are accurate. Other responsibilities will include creating statistical information in Excel, such as earned to incurred figures, portfolio/rate analysis, and loss analysis; monitoring system generated reports for the technical team; and assisting the technical team with processing/technical queries. You will handle a variety of business types, primarily US property with some international. What you will require to succeed Your previous experience working as a Technician, processing and mapping Bordereaus, will help you secure this position. You will be proficient in Excel and capable of creating pivot tables. You will also be well-versed in and understand London Market Delegated Authority procedures as well as general insurance risks. Pay close attention to detail and be able to use your own initiative, as well as have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will have faith in your ability to build effective working relationships both internally and externally. During this role, you will be able to manage and control your own personal effectiveness, including time management and priority setting.
