Overview of the Position You will collect requirements from across the organisation that will lead to a Data Migration solution. To conduct system analyses on software programmes, applications, and web services, as well as to integrate new systems, programmes, and applications with business operations and services in an efficient manner. During the analysis phase, you will assist with the design of potential solutions as a Business Analyst. Location Remote (Occasional workshops in Reading, Hammersmith, and Slough) (Occasional workshops in Reading, Hammersmith, and Slough) Pay £600 per day via umbrella Monday through Friday 6 month contract Principal Responsibilities System analysis of software programmes, applications, and web services. Liaison with internal departments and end-users to determine system efficiency and functionality. System development projects must be reported to management and approved. Integrating new systems, programmes, and applications into business operations and services in an efficient manner. During the analysis phase, assist with the design of potential solutions. Performing data statistical analysis Using tools and techniques to present data in understandable formats, such as diagrams and graphs Report preparation and presentation to management or clients Understanding data content and business requirements by communicating with stakeholders. Experience Required Extensive experience working on data migration projects, as well as digital transformation of business processes and systems Extensive knowledge of defining and implementing large-scale change in complex organisations. Worked on Change Management, Process Re-Engineering, Systems Development, and Gap Analysis projects. SQL and other programming languages knowledge Technical knowledge of database design and development, data models, data mining techniques, and segmentation. Data set analysis requires statistical knowledge and the use of statistical software such as Excel. Problem-solving abilities, Teamwork abilities, Communication abilities, both verbal and written Precision and attention to detail Excellent at conducting research, writing reports, and delivering presentations. Proven business and data analysis experience. Extensive experience in technical business analysis in the telecommunications industry
