Connect openly with the Data Management and Data Services teams in order to align end-to-end solution design, development, and deployment. Collaborate with Data Analysts to determine requirements for delivering information services solutions. Assist in the development of visualisation solutions using standard methodology. Assist in the fulfilment of BI requirements, ensuring that the information provided improves business decision-making capabilities. Be a detail-oriented teammate with advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities. Keep the Data Dictionary (Business Glossary) up to date by aligning content with all information services. The following are the essential skills/qualifications for this position: degree-level or equivalent education Knowledge of visualisation tools, particularly PowerBI, as well as non-Microsoft tools such as Qlikview, Qliksense, and Tableau Capability to manage, translate, and handle complex technical terminology, concepts, and issues for a wide range of audiences Outstanding data analysis skills, as well as a solid understanding of design and integration principles for complex, heterogeneous databases and data modelling. Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and relationship management skills. I am willing to solve problems professionally, lead working groups, negotiate, and reach consensus. SQL 2008/2012/2014/2016 (2017 preferred), SSIS, TSQL Solid understanding of current industry practises and toolkits Experience in a large organization's data warehouse environment, preferably in the insurance/financial sectors Understanding of industry data standards, architectures, and methodologies Eligible to work in the United Kingdom This position has a hybrid working model and requires you to come into their lovely London offices three times per week.
