This role is critical in the development, maintenance, and evolution of the Business Intelligence and Analytics function and capability used throughout the organisation. The position will be part of the Business Intelligence & Analytics team, which is responsible for enabling the rest of the organisation to use data to make better decisions. Principal Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence and analytics processes and systems. Assist colleagues by providing a technical infrastructure that enables effective reporting and the production of key products, while utilising and evolving business intelligence and analytics capabilities towards advanced analytics. Collaborate with various stakeholders to define requirements, scope, design, and deliver visualisations, analytics, and informatics. Assist colleagues as the professional point of contact for the development of business intelligence and analytics tools. To methodically model data, validate, test, and clearly explain to business leads and report authors in written and verbal formats. Person Specification: A bachelor's degree or relevant experience working in a business intelligence and data analytics environment is required. Proven experience with business intelligence, analytics, and data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Business Objects, Tableau, and Qlik, as well as Microsoft Office. SQL and other database query languages are required. Technical knowledge of relational and multidimensional database structures, data modelling, and data warehouse approaches are required. Extensive knowledge of data standards and data security. Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with senior management, data engineers, and external partners.
