Hays is looking for a Transaction Reporting Specialist to work for a bank in the City for 6 months. They cover MIFID, EMIR, and SFTR as a team, so experience with one or two of those regulations would be ideal. Candidates must also have a strong data background, as strong Excel skills are required. The following are the primary responsibilities:? To act as a SME in relation to MiFID II, EMIR, or SFTR regulatory obligations? Daily checks to ensure that Trade & Transaction Reporting (FCA) has been instructed correctly and within regulatory deadlines, and that it reconciles with our books and records. ? Management of exceptions on BAU to ensure regulatory deadlines are met. ? Complete daily reconciliations in preparation for MiFID II reporting? Monitor potential MiFID II clearing breaches in real time on a daily basis; escalate to FO/line manager if necessary. ? Any operations tasks should be standardised and integrated into the consolidated Trade & Transaction Reporting procedure.
