The function A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to join a global insurance company's data analytics team as a Placement Data Analytics Lead. My client is a global leader in insurance brokerage and risk advisory, providing data-driven solutions to both commercial and individual clients. Through four market-leading businesses, this company helps their clients understand coverage nuances, regulatory developments, and risk trends both globally and locally, all while navigating an increasingly dynamic and complex environment. As a Data Analytics Lead, you will manage a team of Placement Data Analytics Partners while driving innovation through data leveraging and estate expansion, as well as delivering analytics tools and insights to further business growth. You will analyse placement data proactively in order to improve the business's profitability and yield, as well as contribute to the maintenance of target placement data structures and an increasing number of data sources, processes, and systems. You will collaborate with various data teams to ensure the regular production of standard MI reports and to drive analytics for Placement across the UK. Important requirements: Extensive experience in the London insurance market, including demonstrable knowledge of data analysis, modelling, and quantitative techniques in the insurance domain. Proven experience in team leadership and project management. Working knowledge of ETL tools and processes is required. Excellent knowledge of MI/BI development tools (Power BI, QlikSense, QlikView or equivalent).
