This position will necessitate eligibility for BPSS clearance and the ability to work in the office two days per week. Important Requirements: Experience working as a Data Consultant / SME is required. Eligibility for BPSS clearance and the ability to work two days per week on-site vast knowledge and experience in data governance, as well as the ability to advise on best practises Data and information management expertise in the following areas: o Data Quality management o Document management (controlled documents) o Enterprise content management (unstructured Data, SharePoint etc.) o Data Protection o Information Security o Third-party and vendor Data administration Knowledge of enterprise capability maturity models, particularly CMMI Capability to identify gaps in current maturity levels and determine what updates or new policies, processes, and procedures are required to close the gap and raise maturity level. Hands-on experience updating or developing policy, process, and procedure artefacts such as: o Data Management Strategy o DMS Sequence Plan o Data Governance Objectives o Data Management Processes for all key data sources o Log of data requirements o Data models o Metrics to identify data-sharing opportunities Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate with all levels of authority and stakeholders from various areas Experience in the construction, transportation, or rail industries is preferred, as is the ability to view data change through a cultural lens and bring people on board.
