Your new business This exciting new opportunity is with a higher education client in Scotland. This client is currently undergoing a financial improvement programme that includes the implementation of Oracle Fusion. They are looking for a Data Migration Functional Lead with experience for a 6-month contract. This position is entirely remote and pays between £500 and £550 per day (outside IR35). Your new position You will be responsible for leading the work on the transformation of legacy GL data available in APTOS/Spreadsheets and preparing the data for migration into Fusion Cloud Projects in accordance with the agreed-upon solution design. This will necessitate gathering data from various offline sources/APTOS systems and collaborating with business teams to prepare/cleanse/upgrade the data. Project Awards and Funding, Project Master Data, Project Billing Invoices and Revenue, Project Costs, and Project Budgets are examples of migration data objects. This is a purely functional position. The current technical team will assist in extracting and mapping data from legacy systems. What you will require to succeed Experience with Fusion/ERP implementation, particularly around data migration Detailed understanding of end-to-end business processes in Finance and Projects. Prior ERP Projects user experience and knowledge, with a focus on Grants Management, Project Billing and Costing process areas, and Project Budgeting. Excellent hands-on experience with Fusion ERP projects Should be able to lead data migration work on their own with minimal assistance from business subject matter experts. Technical SME assistance will be provided for data extraction and mapping. Experience with pre-validation and data reconciliation during Data Migration cycles. Good understanding of ERP Projects Solution concepts and the ability to relate these concepts to the Data Migration approach. Experience in higher education is preferred.
