A well-known property and casualty insurance company is looking for an experienced Data Scientist. Data Scientist | ML Ops Build and Development Experience | Python & R | £75k Annual Salary | Hybrid Work Environment Looking to advance your Data Science career? Have you worked with Azure Databricks and Python before? I'm looking for a chance to work with a talented team of Data Scientists and Engineers for an S& 500 company in the heart of London! Improve your skills by taking advantage of this fantastic opportunity to work both in-office and from home. Required abilities: Prior experience in a similar role (3+ years) with Python programming experience is required. Working knowledge of large and complex datasets (SQL). Extensive knowledge and documented experience with a variety of statistical tools, methods, and languages, such as Python, R, and others. Firsthand knowledge of the development and construction of machine learning models and GLMs. Focus on being creative in order to combine and master machine learning and statistical approaches. Good documentation skills for your day-to-day responsibilities. Preferred (But not Essential) (But not Essential) Prior experience in the insurance or financial industries is preferred for a smooth transition to this new role. Knowledge of advanced machine learning techniques and frameworks, as well as experience with Spark. Personal Characteristics Detail-oriented - even minor mistakes can have significant consequences. Information-driven - the Data Scientist must be hungry for the most recent developments in the field, anticipating the impact on their own work. A creative mindset is required because a constantly evolving workspace presents a constant stream of challenges to overcome.
