There is an opportunity for a talented individual with an interest in biological process development to work alongside our process development scientists due to an exciting and diverse portfolio of antibody therapeutic programmes. Your new position This position will be responsible for helping to generate and analyse process development data for our antibody-based therapeutics. The work will support the evaluation of process data across the various stages of antibody drug process development, from concept to commercial scale, with a focus on micro-scale models and their applicability to larger scale. Successful candidates must:? Conduct small-scale process development experiments to gain a fundamental understanding of individual unit operations for use in in silico modelling? Assist in the assessment of new bioprocess technologies? Ability to perform data analysis and visualisation with the goal of automating data handling. Capable of working as a member of a multi-functional team and being an effective two-way communicator What you will require to succeed Basic understanding of biological processes and processing tools. Understanding of data analysis, with an interest in data processing automation and in-silico modelling. Some knowledge of cell culture and/or antibody chromatography, as well as analytical methods Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field is required (or equivalent experience). We are ideally looking for candidates who are currently employed in the pharmaceutical industry or who have completed a placement year in a related field.
