Method Resourcing has partnered with a Luxury Retailer that places a high value on technological innovation as part of their new digital transformation. They are looking for an experienced Senior or Lead Data Engineer who can advise on how to optimise current processes and provide expertise and knowledge of data tools and systems. This position would suit a current Senior Data Engineer seeking advancement into a leadership role or a Lead Data Engineer seeking a new opportunity to grow a team. This is a demanding position that will suit someone with the drive and ambition to effect change and advance professionally. You will be in charge of growing a new in-house data team and introducing process improvements without compromising productivity. You will be involved in the design of the data strategic roadmap and will manage collaboration between functional and technical teams. Your exceptional abilities will include: Project and people management experience 5+ years of Azure, AWS, or GCP experience Knowledge of architectural concepts such as data lakes, data warehouses, and data marts Understanding of Dynamics 365 Excellent SQL Server knowledge Excellent knowledge of ETL processes This role is initially remote, with the requirement to visit either the London or Newcastle offices on an as-needed basis. The role pays up to £90,000 plus excellent benefits for the right candidate.
