Your new position What is the difference between data mining and manipulation? Using database queries (SQL), spreadsheet models (Excel), and a data discovery and visualisation tool, collect and analyse customer data (Qliksense) What is data analysis? track, analyse, and report on the performance of recruitment, retention, and reactivation marketing activity, including but not limited to direct mail (e.g., PPC/SEA (Pay Per Click/Search Engine Advertising), SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), email, social media, and other third-party platforms that deliver our loyalty and customer referral programmes, such as Incentivesmart and MentionMe), using metrics such as ROI (Return on Investment), conversion rates, and LTV (Life Time Value) What is the interpretation of the data? Understand why some marketing campaigns are successful and others are not, identify more profitable channels, and make recommendations based on data collected. To address key strategic questions, provide actionable market and customer insights. Is there an ongoing investigation? Examine customer journey communications on a regular basis to determine the effectiveness of each customer touchpoint. What about communication and presentation? Make Qliksense dashboards and PowerPoint presentations with charts and graphs to provide market and consumer insights to the Marketing Team and other stakeholders. As the knowledge owner for customer and market data, advise other marketing functions (e-commerce/website, product development). Data list administration? provide customer data files in accordance with the brief, utilising models such as RFM (Recency Frequency). For marketing campaigns, monetary value Who owns the marketing report? create and own critical business and marketing reports, create/automate regular reports, and handle ad hoc analytic requests Financial forecasting models? cooperating with the Finance Team and the Systems Data Team to assist with larger business reports and ensure consistency What you will require to succeed capable of conducting marketing research and statistical analysis Excellent analytical abilities as well as a high level of business acumen For all stages of the data analysis process, be familiar with the fundamentals of computer science.
