Insurance Exp London - Reconciliation/Data Analyst Working for six months Within the scope My client, a large insurer, is looking for a Reconciliation/Data Analyst to work independently, challenging data quality, adjusting, interacting with other teams such as OWRI, and escalating where necessary. This role will help with data migration from a legacy system to their new system. Principal Responsibilities Data Manipulation entails conducting a thorough examination of the Ceded Technical Accounts in order to assist in the delivery of Ceded FTOM requirements. Reconciliation entails transferring all ceded technical balances from the SAP ledger to the IBD Finance sub ledger (e.g. Premium, commissions, recoveries) determining how any differences will be resolved through governance Preparation and posting of journals to the IBD Finance sub Ledger and the SAP Ledger, as well as data argumentation to the required grain Accounting: to collaborate closely with various business departments to ensure appropriate data is available and easily accessible. Process and Data: documentation of the reconciliation process to ensure appropriate reinsurance controls are performed and in place to ensure accurate and appropriate data migration. Finance Program and operational readiness: Directly contribute to and support other team members in the Finance Programme deliverables regarding the future state processes of the strategic outwards reinsurance arrangements. Other and Ad-hoc: to assist other members of the reinsurance accounting team (and wider finance as needed) in responding to other ad-hoc information requests.
