Your new company and position This new position is with a well-known public sector organisation, which is looking for an experienced data analyst for a 9-month contract. This position is mostly remote (2 days on-site per month) and pays up to £500 per day (outside IR35). They now need more help from the team to ensure that current projects are completed by the deadlines. What you will require to succeed Essential Working knowledge of Power BI and visualisation tools is required. Understanding of data preparation activities and data modelling, preferably in a finance or other corporate services context, with data analysis experience. Significant experience with Excel or an equivalent spreadsheet tool for data analysis, including the ability to pivot data, create charts, and perform complex data calculations, preferably in the finance or other corporate context. Working closely with external or internal users/organizations to understand and validate data inputs, as well as explain analysis outputs in business rather than technical language, is preferred. Understanding of the process of developing current and future financial models to support business cases or similar Working experience with business stakeholders to define reporting requirements through documentation in BRDs and user stories.
