Our client, with offices based in Leeds, are looking for experienced Data Scientists to join their expanding team. As a hybrid working business you will operate flexibly between the office and working at home and will play a key part in executing the companies data science strategy and bringing together multiple large data sources for effective use across the business. The role: As a Senior Data Scientist you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders across the wider group to gather data science requirements and then translate those into actionable insight! You'll get to use machine learning and statistical modelling tools to generate customer, marketing and commercial insight, which will help the business set strategy across numerous functions including marketing, pricing and product development. You'll be creating algorithms and models to understand how changes in metrics in one area of the business impact other areas and working with those teams to deliver the data science roadmap. You'll also get the opportunity to mentor and guide more junior members of the data science team and help them on the journey as the team grows. What you'll need to have: Commercial experience working as a Data Scientist with strong technical skills in SQL, Python, Spark Data Visualisation - You'll have an ability to create data visualisations using tools like Tableau or Power BI. Technical skills - You'll of previously developed and deployed predictive models using machine learning frameworks and worked with big data technologies. Good communication skills - comfortable requirements from business stakeholders What's on offer?
