Your new role The post holder will be accountable for the development and operation of business intelligence systems and/or work packages for the production of internal and external activity information including statutory returns ensuring that the outputs meet the required quality standards, schedules and governance requirements. This will be achieved by the specification, development, testing and deployment of data warehouse and reporting solutions, and the production of information and business intelligence from clinical and corporate data What you'll need to succeed Essential Skills Informatics or Information qualification to degree level or equivalent experience in developing and implementing in management information systems Extensive experience of managing complex information management development projects. Automated integration of disparate data sources and delivery of information derived from it Experience of information management within the NHS 5/6 years' experience of delivering BI and clinical systems solutions based on Microsoft technology, in particular MS-SQL 2012/2016 components (SSIS, T-SQL, SSAS, SSRS), Qlikview, Power BI or similar, and relevant clinical systems technology (RiO, SystmOne etc.) Production of full life cycle documentation from design approaches to test documentation, SOP?s etc Experience of multi-system data extraction, storage, integration and reporting. Evidenced experience working as SME on large cross functional /organisational projects including the production of technical specifications 2 / 3 years' experience of delivering statutory, commissioning, and internal reporting requirements.
