The main responsibility of this role is to develop the insight that drives the understanding of the effectiveness of marketing activity and how this influences overall business performance. The role will be forward facing and provide key opportunities to build relationships using data within marketing and beyond. Your new role You will Develop a strong understanding of the organisations proposition, products, and processes and become a reliable source of information for the business. In your new role you will use key insights to support organisation and wider team in optimising and improving marketing activity. A successful candidate will support the development of a suite of insights through reporting, analytics and investigation that are delivered back to the business to drive actionable and trackable change. You will become an expert on customer journeys and understand how they play a key role in shaping marketing and business understanding of the customer. Through successful stakeholder engagement you will build key relationships within marketing and the wider business to increase the reputation of the Data Intelligence Team. What you'll need to succeed A successful will hold a numerate degree that involves a high level of Statistics or Operational Research or have experience of data manipulation and mining in a previous role. In this role you will be able to demonstrate experience in building and maintaining insight reports. A successful candidate will have experience of channel and digital marketing analytics including confident use of Google Analytics and delivering campaign analysis through multiple. Candidates must have excellent analytical and numerical skills, with understanding of effectiveness analytics. You will display a proven track record in data mining and database analysis to build insight; preferably using one of the following SAS, SQL, Python or R. Due to the nature of this role you must have strong personal skills with the ability to present and communicate insights effectively.
