A highly interesting medium-sized business is looking for an AWS DBA Architect or Designer who wants to work for a growing company. This is an engineering lead position, and you will be part of a team of 3 to 4. The company specializes in media and broadcasting and provides a SAAS-based antipiracy solution. Driving and improving database and schema design, construction, and testing activities, such as evaluating and recommending acceptable cloud-hosted database technologies and types, as well as optimizing existing database and data store performance. SQL and NoSQL database instances in production, staging, and development environments are deployed, supported, and administered. In coordination with the Software Engineering Teams, execute database housekeeping chores (such as performance tuning, indexing, query optimization, and so on). Oversight of database availability and performance, including incident and problem management, security and auditing, logging, and establishing and implementing monitoring, alerting, and regular reporting on potential database performance or integrity concerns. Creating and deploying best-in-class data backup, restoration, recovery, storage, and archiving techniques. Developing and implementing database standards, policies, SOPs, and security measures. Working with a third-party database managed service provider to plan, orchestrate, and coordinate database updates, migrations, and maintenance, as well as to plan and execute schema and data migrations in a live production environment 24 hours a day, seven days a week. #4308535
