The Role This is largely a managerial focused position situated within their marketing data science team, directly responsible for a team of four. They are seeking an individual with a breadth of data science and analytics experience, who is able to lead and still get involved with the practical side where required. The split will be roughly 80% managerial and 20% hands on with data. This team is tasked with analysing business issues and drawing insight from their vast data sets to create solutions through from creation up until implementation. These solutions will involve building sophisticated models to give recommendations to improve customer experience and ensuring they are being targeted in the most effective way possible to improve the use of their CRM systems. You will be leading the way regarding innovative data science for this FTSE 100 business and playing a key role in the transformation for SQL Server to AWS, as well as advising on how the use of R and Python will be useful in improving how the company targets their customers. You will be liaising with key senior stakeholders across the business to persuade them how models developed can be implemented in the wider business.
