Our government sector client is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join their team on a 5 month contract contributing to the design and creation of analytical products such as the analysis ready dataset. You will be responsible for: Understand customer needs, regularly seek feedback and incorporate these into analytical product design Assess and audit suitability of statistical techniques against emerging applications, particularly within the adoption of Natural Capital based approaches Contribute to analytical projects at all stages of the pipeline including data preparation, analysis, and visualisations Complete GIS and multivariate statistical analysis, including power analysis to detect change Liaise with other analysts and scientists, both within the company Maintain an overview of existing and emerging methods and research in analytics Contributing to the join up across the company Programme through cross-partner collaborations, helping to establish more consistent approaches, and quality assure pieces of work Develop cross-cutting thematic working, including, data, Earth Observation, integrated design, and citizen science Working with the Head of Team and the Programme Management Office to support the Data and Digital Advisory Panel and similar Workstream Delivery Panels. This will include preparation of papers, minuting meetings, maintaining action logs and inter-meeting correspondence and decisions.
