You will be familiar with the Microsoft SQL and Power BI tool sets, and you will have prior expertise providing management information and data visualization to business users, as well as delivering and validating structured datasets prepared on a timetable to a fixed format. Experience reporting in a regulated setting is preferred but not required. The following are important features of the role: Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to identify business areas that could benefit from analysis? Examining data collection techniques and determining the accuracy of information stored? Identifying abnormal data and investigating and eliminating any processes or practices that lead to the collection of untrustworthy data? Streamlining BI processes and promoting best practices Regularly reporting to the Board, Committees, and external Regulatory bodies? Contributing to the development of forecasting models and other insight and analysis tools? Using self-service analytics to gain valuable insights? Working together with the IT department to ensure the security and robustness of the data gathering and storage systems? Understanding the regulations governing data collection and processing, as well as ensuring that all policies adhere to current legislation? Create data visualizations and dashboards to answer critical questions and metrics. What you will require to succeed The ideal candidate will be able to prioritize, work at a Senior level, work under pressure, and meet rigorous deadlines. Good communication skills, excellent analytical skills, precise reporting and presentation skills, as well as the ability to manage expectations across a wide range of competing needs, are required.
