Monday through Friday (9-5) Your new business Hays is pleased to be assisting a large, multinational corporation in their search for a permanent Commercial Finance Analyst for their Droitwich location. This company develops and manufactures a wide range of FMCG products in the UK and is ranked in the Top 10 of Britain's biggest brands. Your new position You will provide timely and accurate financial and commercial information to internal teams to support decision-making in one of their largest divisions. Principal responsibilities: Creating and distributing weekly and monthly financial reports In collaboration with the commercial team, maintain retail customer price trackers. Oversee retail customer discounts through SAP, ensuring the appropriate level of control and all monthly reconciliations. Assist the commercial and commercial finance teams with cost and pricing issues. Provide optimal financial data consolidation development Liaise with the management accounts team to ensure that all necessary postings are made. As needed, provide financial and management information to the controllers. Consolidation and reporting of specific aspects of control, such as customer margins/pricing adjustments, are supported. What you will require to succeed Qualification in Accounting (AAT or equivalent) highly desirable but not required providing evidence of relevant experience Excellent knowledge of day-to-day financial processes and procedures Excellent relationship building and communication skills, as well as strong analytical skills and the ability to handle large amounts of data Capable of upsetting the status quo and influencing people at all levels Strong personality and the ability to express oneself concisely and positively IT and financial systems expertise (SAP an advantage) What you'll get in exchange In exchange, you will receive a competitive base salary and the opportunity to work for a highly successful European company that values employee support and development - the role provides a great platform for future advancement into finance business partnering.
