Your new position Human Capital is both an asset and a cost in this highly regulated company with a data-driven, analytical management culture. As a result, this is a high-level HR position that reports directly to the Workforce Analytics and Compensation Business Partner. The Chief Finance Officer, Chief Risk Officer, and members of the Executive Group are the primary stakeholders outside of HR. You will be in charge of: management reporting on human capital (e.g. headcount and cost movement, tracking YTD against budget, analysing turnover and forecasting hiring) Taking the lead in developing a reporting suite to assess talent and the efficacy of HR processes Working with the Strategic Business Intelligence team to develop a suite of QlikView Data Visualisation Tools. As shown below, the role encompasses both Workforce Analytics and Compensation Analytics. Management reporting and information: All regular headcount and staff cost reports will be delivered to Finance, our Shareholders, and the various Executive functions by the postholder. Liaison with HR and Finance functions across all Group companies to ensure timely delivery of data for incorporation into Group-level reports. You will look for ways to improve the team's and the HR function's analytic capability in order to create meaningful, value-added reporting, while also looking for ways to streamline and automate reporting needs, reduce manual tasks, and increase the team's capacity for operational and/or unplanned work. Compensation Management: The incumbent will collaborate closely with Workforce Analytics and the Compensation Business Partner to assist the CHRO, Group CFO, and CAO in the analysis, development, and delivery of corporate compensation programmes based on business objectives, cost effectiveness, and competitive practise. This includes participation in the annual compensation review process, regular liaison with consulting partners regarding market benchmarking exercises, and compensation analysis in all areas. Additional projects in which the post-holder will be involved include the development of a holistic, transparent reward philosophy and a cash compensation philosophy (including pay equity principles). What you will require to succeed Education to the undergraduate level, preferably in mathematics, engineering, science, or business. Is it at least 18 months? experience in a management reporting role gained in an international organization's HR or Finance function. MS Excel proficiency, not to programming standards, but comfort with macros and advanced functions, pivot tables, and so on. Database knowledge is preferred but not required. Knowledge of (ideally multiple) HR and payroll systems, preferably Success Factors. Strong planning and organisational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively and deliver on time. Must be willing to work unusually long or irregular hours to support key processes such as reporting periods or budgeting. Outstanding analytical abilities, including critical thinking, reasoning, and problem solving. Proven ability to provide analytical insights. Experience creating reports on talent analytics and measuring the effectiveness of HR processes. A customer-focused approach with a keen eye for detail. Knowledge of QlikView or other data visualisation software. Self-motivated and capable of working with little supervision. Capability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
