Key duties and responsibilities of the Data Migration Officer: Verifying that data shows accurate information and is consistent across the dataset Responsible for correcting or removing incorrect, incomplete, or duplicate data within dataset Extracting and manipulating data Formatting data in readiness to be uploaded to online systems Review duplicate records and merge records Proactively contact the departments to drive the data migration and cleansing effort Interrogate data and amend as required Liaise with departments to verify data and develop processes to ensure data remains ?cleansed? What we?re looking for in our Data Migration Officer: Ideally educated to Degree level in a related field e.g. IT / Finance At least 1 year of proven administrative / office-based experience Experience of using databases, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail Strong awareness of GDPR and confidentiality Previous experience of Data Sourcing and Data Cleansing The ability to use advanced Excel functionality including VLookup, HLookup, Pivot tables, string manipulation etc. Fluent written and spoken English is essential. The following would be an advantage but not a requirement Knowledge on retail systems Experienced in the use of data visualisation tools, Tableau, PowerBI What you'll get in return A starting salary of £25,000 to £35,000, hybrid working, employee benefits and on-site parking.
