A truly exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Data Product Manager or Head of Data to join a leading Retail PLC in Birmingham. Responsible for two direct reports but supported by a matrix of external data, this is an exciting role if you enjoy data, marketing (CRM), and retail environments. Define the Data Strategy, with a particular emphasis on the ongoing evolution of CRM capabilities. Lead a strategy for segmentation and personalization that improves customer experience across multiple brands. In collaboration with key partners, own a development roadmap and dependency plan for delivering the strategy (e.g., technology, marketing, data, legal, and product) Promote broader data initiatives (specifically the design and build of data lake and a variety of operationally focused data projects) Data Engineering Sprint Team Product Management? - Creating epics and stories, as well as taking part in regular scrum ceremonies (acting as the business driver behind initiatives and ensuring delivery milestones are agreed and on track) Working with the Brand and Central Marketing teams to optimise the customer lifecycle marketing strategy (targeting increases in conversion, engagement, retention, and lifetime value) across existing and new channels. Collaboration with brands to attract and retain customers in Loyalty programmes. Management of a Data Analyst - responsible for reporting on performance data and identifying test and learn opportunities. Management of key data, CRM, and technology suppliers.
