Morson Talent is looking for a Finance Analyst to work for one of our Aerospace clients in Yeovil, Somerset. This is a full-time job with a contract that will last for a long time. Responsibilities ? Bring together bids and cost information from different parts of Leonardo Helicopters and from outside partners. Estimate the costs of the contract and back up your estimate of the price. When possible, estimate the price of work for the UK Ministry of Defense, taking into account the baseline profit rate published by the UK government and making changes according to the SSRO regulations for calculating profits. Find out and estimate the cash value of the contract. Give an estimate of costs and income from year to year. Review proposals carefully to make sure all costs are included. Manage the financial risk associated with the data that is being used to support bids for new contracts. Cost problems should be written down, along with an outline of how they will be solved. Prepare the Profitability Analysis so that it can be shared with others and approved. Help with negotiations as needed. Complete financial analysis for contract flow down between legal entities and departments (compile Cost Price Make Up) according to the agreed-upon wbs. Important Skills, Knowledge, and Experience? Educated to the level of a bachelor's degree, or with a formal accounting qualification, or with three years of experience? The ability to communicate with senior project managers, commercial, engineering, manufacturing, and supplier organisations as needed. ? Being able to deal with complicated financial modelling under time pressure. Ability to manage or reduce the possible risks and opportunities in order to succeed in business. Team player, who can work well with people from different fields? Strong communication skills and the ability to work with people from all levels of the company. Able to speak for the company by interacting with customers and business partners within the company's budget. Ability to understand supporting systems and processes and be able to make improvements to processes they are in charge of. Good Excel skills essential.
