You will play an influencing role in creating and implementing a data management strategy, structure, tools, and controls for our core business processes. Your role will involve Managing the Business Services Data Management & Insights team, building the team and business capabilities, providing guidance, setting standards, and leveraging analytical expertise to deliver better business outcomes Developing and automating reporting, business analytics and insight tools and capabilities with a focus on self-service Representing Business Services function in the systems and technology strategy groups ensuring the business is leveraging existing technologies to achieve the maximum benefits Influencing the development of our data and tooling infrastructure whilst ensuring the business is equipped to make data-focused decisions Acting as an advocate for industry best practices on Data and Insights, internally and externally, coaching the team to ensure we understand how to use and maximise functionality Supporting a data-first approach whilst continually seeking to use the information to unlock new insights and capabilities Working with the senior business stakeholders to provide business intelligence, insight and reporting solutions that enable timely and effective decision making Playing the change-orientated role in the Business Services management team and within the Heads of Department peer groups, to drive cultural change with respect to data management and analytics Implementing reporting and insight capabilities that can track and measure financial and non-financial indicators including carbon impact, informing proposed initiatives and business decisions These skills are essential: An established Business Intelligence and Data Management expert who has, defined, and implemented business and data strategies and provided insights to a large-scale organisation Proficient use of Cloud ERP systems and associated BI and data capabilities and other Cloud Platforms (e.g., Azure) Strong stakeholder relationships builder who can influence across all levels of the business Working knowledge of deploying business intelligence and data solutions that inform business decisions and strategies A broad understanding of the processes and data structures associated with the Record-to-Report, Hire-to-Retire, Projects-to-Retire, Source-to-Pay and Service-to-Cash workstreams Detailed knowledge of Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) and the associated subject areas including, Oracle Application Continuity (OAC), Business Intelligence Publisher, SmartView, Financial Reporting Studio and Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS) A working appreciation of Artificial Intelligence, and machine learning techniques such as predictive modelling, regression, classification, clustering, and reinforcement learning Ideally, you will also have: An ability to understand and interpret business strategy and identify how meaningful BI can be used to inform business decisions Knowledge of modern data architecture, including cloud and distributed computing with a grounding in data warehouses, business intelligence solutions, databases, and programming frameworks Oracle Fusion is preferred Rewards We offer competitive salaries and excellent benefits, along with performance-based annual bonuses, our longer-term Share in Success Bonus plans, generous annual leave allowances and market-leading pensions.
