Our major client in the Energy sector is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team for a 6-month initial contract that will most likely be extended. The responsibilities will be as follows: Organizational governance and standards delivery across key transmission data areas, beginning with asset data. Other key data domains to be focused on include system planning and investment, network performance, projects, and operations. It will be necessary to stay closely aligned with the data requirements of Value Stream leads and product owners. Dashboards for insights and analytics on standard adherence Data quality analysis and cleansing activity management Developing principles and practises for data-related projects to follow in their delivery Provision of a new Azure-hosted data platform for the company, which will enable insights and analytics across a consolidated set of data sources. Delivery of a new platform that will enable data sharing with customers, stakeholders, and partners, as required by Ofgem. Experience and key skills Senior project manager with extensive experience delivering projects in large-scale transformation, digital, and data-driven initiatives. Although not a technology expert, the candidate must be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of technology capabilities as well as the ability to bridge the gap between technology and business. Understand exactly what is required in data-related projects to drive business and technology data outcomes.
